Experiences shared by teachers from Szkoła Podstawowa z Oddziałami Integracyjnymi nr 9, Konin, Poland
1. An Inspiring Visit Full of New Ideas
By Małgorzata Jałkiewicz
Our Erasmus visit to “Grigore Moisil” Lower Secondary School was a wonderful and inspiring experience. From the very first moment, we felt welcomed by the school community. We had the opportunity to observe a variety of educational activities and to discover how creativity, cooperation and active participation can make learning more meaningful for students.
The activities we observed were both interesting and useful. We especially appreciated the way teachers encouraged students to express their ideas, work together and learn by doing. Seeing different teaching methods in practice gave us fresh ideas that we can adapt to our own school in Konin. The visit reminded us how valuable it is for teachers to exchange experiences and learn from one another.
One of the most delightful surprises was the podcast created by the students of “Grigore Moisil” Lower Secondary School. We were truly impressed by their enthusiasm, confidence and creativity. The podcast was an excellent example of how digital tools can help students develop communication skills, share their thoughts and work as a team. We were delighted to see their effort and proud spirit shine through their work.
We hope this visit will be the beginning of a lasting friendship between our schools. We will stay in touch, continue exchanging ideas and look for new opportunities to work together. We also look forward to welcoming our Romanian colleagues to Poland one day. It will then be their turn to visit our school, get to know our students and teachers, and discover more about Polish culture, traditions and everyday customs. We are sure that this is only the beginning of many valuable Erasmus experiences together.
2. Building Bridges Through Learning and Friendship
By Agnieszka Jagodzińska
Visiting “Grigore Moisil” Lower Secondary School as part of the Erasmus programme was an enriching experience that we will remember with great pleasure. We were happy to meet such welcoming people and to see a school where students are encouraged to be curious, involved and open to new challenges.
The lessons and activities we observed offered many practical ideas. We liked the variety of approaches used by the teachers and the way students were invited to participate, collaborate and take responsibility for their learning. These activities showed us that education can be effective and enjoyable at the same time. We returned with new inspiration and useful examples that may help us enrich our own work with students.
We were particularly excited about the podcast prepared by the Romanian students. It was a creative and modern way to communicate, and it showed how much students can achieve when they are trusted with an engaging task. We were impressed by their ideas and by the work they had put into the project. The podcast also made us feel that technology can bring young people together, help them find their voices and create connections across borders.
For us, Erasmus is not only about visiting another school; it is about building relationships, sharing good practice and discovering what we have in common while respecting our differences. We would very much like to keep in contact with the teachers and students we met and continue this cooperation in the future. We hope that our Romanian friends will soon have the chance to visit our school in Konin. We will be happy to show them our school life and introduce them to Polish culture, local traditions and customs. We believe that getting to know each other better will make our partnership even stronger.
