About the project
Firstly, all students update their profiles on Twinspace with basic information about themselves.
Secondly, the students in each country will be divided into groups. Each group will do a presentation on one national or traditional food of their home country. Preferable is that the presentation includes video and audio but pictures and text are also acceptable. These presentations will be shared online through Twinspace.
Finally, all the students will watch the presentations of the other groups and comment on them.
If we have time, we will gather the recipes into an international cookbook.
One aim of the project is for students to learn about other cultures and do cultural exchange, in this case more precisely on cuisine. The aim is also to develop students’ English skill since the presentations will be done in English. The project also aims to give students a chance to connect with youngsters from different countries.
The project will start in September 2016. The introduction on Twinspace and profile updates will be done latest in October 2016. The presentations will be shared online latest in February 2017. The presentations will be watched and commented latest in April 2017.
Each school will divide their students into groups and supervise the work on their half. The students can decide themselves which food they will present.
We don’t think we will produce any public material. If we have time we will create an international cookbook for our own use, to be shared to the students and perhaps within each school. We hope to increase internationality in our schools
About the project
We’d like to discover archeological sites in other countries.
Our school is near Olbia archeological site. We’d like to make you discover this site. You’ll be able to read articles written by our pupils .
The aim of our project is to improve their English, know about Greek and Roman times and exchange knoledges with international pupils.
The skills we hope our pupils will gain are:
– Learn vocabulary
– Learn about historical facts
– Use ICT
– Write in English
– Exchange with pupils from foreign countries
– Learn about geography
The first part (September/October): The pupils introduce themselves and present their archeological site.
In turn, we exchange information about the sites every two months approximately. The project will evolve as the partners share the pupils’ work.
We are planning to use Twinspace to share information and Olbia archeological site resources .
